PRAYER OF ALL THOSE GATHERED:

We have the power to stop it.

But we must act now, before it is too late.

We offer our support and prayers to the people of
Darfur.

We have the power to stop it.

But we must act now, before it is too late.

Let us stand together in solidarity with all people
of conscience to stop the violence, provide
the aid and resolve the conflict.
We are witnessing the destruction of human life.

Let us join hearts with the faith community throughout America -

in prayer, in action, and in spirit, to let the Darfurian
people know that they are not abandoned.

We will not stand idly by and have genocide occur.

We pray that peace, protection, and mercy prevail in Sudan
Amen.
